Kevin J. Rafferty Owner/Funeral Director

With more than 30 years experience as a licensed funeral director in the Quad Cities, Kevin Rafferty opened Rafferty Funeral Home in 2007 to ensure that families receive the highest standard of integrity and service in a facility specially designed to meet their needs. After graduating from Alleman High School, Kevin received his B.A. in Psychology from the University of Iowa and his Mortuary Science Degree from Worsham School of Mortuary Science. He and his wife, Colleen Carlin Rafferty, have four children and live in Moline. Kevin is committed to serving the Quad Cities, and Rock Island County in particular. He is a member of the Moline Rotary, serves as Vice President of the Alleman High School Hall of Fame Committee, is a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters Court 1691 where he serves as Secretary, Past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus, Allouez Council, Rock Island, serves on the boards of Youth Service Bureau, Moline Municipal Credit Union and serves on the Executive Board of the John Deere Classic . Kevin has been active coaching area youth, through Moline Little League, Seton Catholic School, and Alleman High School. Kevin is a member of the National Funeral Directors Associations, and is Past President of the Mississippi Valley Funeral Directors Association.

Sarah J. Stout Funeral Director

Sarah Stout graduated from Rock Island Senior High School in 1997. She attended the University of Iowa before graduating from Worsham College of Mortuary Science. Sarah is a licensed funeral director in Illinois and Iowa and has served the Quad City area for over twenty years. Sarah and her husband, Ben, live in Milan with their two daughters and son.

Chase B. Stone Funeral Director

Chase Stone initially joined the staff at Rafferty Funeral Home in 2015. He has since returned and is very happy to be back. Chase has been a part of funeral service for almost 15 years and has been a licensee since 2017. Chase loves the honor and privilege that goes into the service of others while working in the funeral home. In his spare time, he enjoys turning wrenches on his vehicles, video games, hunting, being with friends and family, and taking care of his cats at home. He is a member of Ducks Unlimited.

Colleen M. Rafferty Communications Consultant

Colleen Carlin Rafferty graduated from Alleman Catholic High School and received her B.A. from the University of Iowa, with a double major in Journalism and Graphic Design. She has more than 20 years experience in marketing and public relations, including her work for Golin Harris Communications, Chicago; Henry Russell Bruce, Cedar Rapids and Quad Cities; Genesis Health System, and Trinity Regional Health System. Currently, she serves as Executive Director of The Women's Connection, the area's largest women's organization. Colleen sits on the Board of Trustees for Trinity's Robert Young Center and the Board Nominating Committee for Girl Scouts of Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois. She serves as the Communications Chairperson for Western Illinois University's Quad City Campus Leadership Council and on the Trinity Health Foundation Golf Outing Planning Committee. Along with her husband, Kevin, and their four children, Colleen is an active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Moline.

John DeGreve Funeral Assistant and Funeral Celebrant

John was born and raised in Moline and is now a resident of Bettendorf.  He graduated from Sacred Heart Grade School Moline, Alleman High School Rock Island (class 64) and attended University Of Iowa.  John proudly served for the United States during the Vietnam War.  He is married to Jan (Marzorati) DeGreve for45 years and they have two children: Darrel, Batavia, IL and Anne, Fox Lake, WI.   John was previously a member of Sacred Heart Church, Moline- singing in the Unity Choir for over 15 years. He currently a member of the Unitarian Church, Davenport, where he serves on the Religious Services Team.   John was the owner of DeGreve Oil Change for 29 years, selling it in 2008.    He presently is the owner of Valpak of the Quad Cities for 5 years.  He serves as a Funeral Associate at Rafferty Home since 2007.
