Biography

Marjorie L. Caldwell, 79, of Moline, passed away Thursday, June 24, 2010 at Heartland Health Care Center, Moline.

Funeral Services will be 10am Tuesday at Rafferty Funeral Home, 2111 – 1st St A, Moline. Visitation will be 4 -7pm Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be at National Cemetery, Rock Island. Memorials can be made to Rock Island Humane Society.

Marjorie was born August 9, 1930 in Davenport, IA, the daughter of Andrew and Margaret Chandler Kouski. She married Audra Caldwell on May 11, 1962 in East Moline. He preceded her in death on May 13, 1999.

Marjorie retired from the Bituminous Insurance Company, Rock Island.

Marjorie enjoyed auctions, bingo, bus trips and her time on the boats. She especially enjoyed wintering in South Padre Island, TX.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Carrie Krulik of Davenport; step daughters and son-in-law, Patricia Bettis of Milan and Mary Sandra and Donald Massa of Erie; step son and daughter-in-law, William and Alice Caldwell of Moline; 13 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Kissel of Milan and special friend Leona DeClerck of Moline. She was preceded in death by stepsons, Richard Caldwell and Michael Caldwell and a brother Frank Lingard.
