Adult Grief Recovery Group

Meeting Day(s)/Meeting Time: 1st, 3rd and 5th Mondays of the month from 6:30- 8:00 p.m. or 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month from 12-1:30p.m
Comments: The Grief Recovery Group is for adults who are living through grief. It provides a safe and accepting space to share information and explore experiences to find the courage and strength to go on with life.

Genesis Hospice Grief Support Group

Meeting Time: 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m.

Comments: Sometimes it helps to be with others who can share our grief and the feelings we are experiencing.  Our support group is open to anyone who has experienced the death of a loved one.

Feel free to contact TCF’s National Office at 877-969-0010 or email nationaloffice@compassionatefriends.org. We’ll be happy to put together a customized packet of materials specifically chosen to apply to the situation at hand. We’ll also be glad to provide contact information to the nearest TCF chapter, one where the parents, adult siblings, and grandparents can all gather with others who understand, because they, too, are mourning the death of a child.

Comments: A comprehensive resource for facilitation and management of grief experienced by children, adolescents, and their families. Activities include crisis intervention, private trauma counseling by a certified trauma specialist, peer support groups, creative expression, "safe" space to vent emotions, a resource library, and seminars.

Comments: 
Time heals all wounds is not necessarily true for survivors of suicide. Time is necessary for healing, but time is not enough. Shared feelings enrich and lead to growth and healing.
